Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science desires to appoint one part-time Medical Officer (MO) on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year. The tenure of appointment may be extended by another 2 (two) years on yearly basis, subject to the requirement of the Association and performance of the incumbent.

The MO will have to attend to his duties at the Association on all working days, for at least 3 hours per day and to attend emergency cases, if any, in the campus beyond stipulated duty hours. Besides attending to the employees, students and pensioners (self only), he would advise the Institute’s Standing Medical Committee for its smooth functioning, on technical aspects on processing of medical bills and any other matter pertaining to medical aspects of the Association as and when required.

The applicant should be a registered medical practitioner possessing MCI recognised qualification preferably upto 55 years of age. The Association will offer a fixed remuneration of Rs.50,000/- per month depending upon the qualification and experience of the candidate for attending duties on all the 5 (five) working days in a week. However, the monthly remuneration will be proportionate to the number of days attended by the MO, viz., remuneration for attending duties once in a week for 3 hours/day will be Rs.10000/- per month, for twice in a week will be Rs.20000/- per month and so on.

Appointment may be offered to more than one incumbent depending on the requirement of the Institute.
