Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science desires to appoint one retired experienced employee of Indian Audit and Accounts Department background in the post of Audit Consultant.  The contract is for five years or up to attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. The contract is renewable after each year subject to satisfactory performance in discharging the functions assigned to him/her by the Authority and requirement of the Institute.

The Candidate will have to deal with different audit related (both internal and external) works/affairs of the Institution and any other works that may be assigned to him by the Competent Authority of the Association. Graduation with All India Level professional qualification in accounts or audit, like Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, SAS or equivalent exam, etc. is essential. The Institute will offer a fixed remuneration of Rs.40,000/- per month and no other allowance/emolument in any form would be allowed. No increment would be allowed during the entire contract period.

The Institute reserves the right to consider relaxation of the stipulated criteria in case of exceptional candidates, if considered necessary.
