Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science desires to appoint one retired experienced Central Govt. employee in the post of Finance Consultant.  The contract is for five years or up to attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. The contract is renewable after each year subject to satisfactory performance in discharging the functions assigned to him/her by the Authority.

The Candidate will have to deal with different work of the Institution and any other works that may be assigned to him by the Competent Authority of the Association. The Candidate must have passed the Master's degree in Commerce or All India Level professional qualification in accounts or audit, like Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India or equivalent with five years experience or Commerce degree with twelve years of experience. The Institute will offer a fixed remuneration Rs.40,000/- per month and no other emolument/allowance would be allowed.  No increment would be allowed during the entire contact period.

The Institute reserves the right to consider relaxation of the stipulated criteria in case of exceptional candidates, if considered necessary.
