Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) desires to appoint one more Part-time Officer on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year. The tenure of appointment may be extended by another 2 (two) more years on yearly basis, subject to the requirement of the Association and performance of the incumbent.
In view of the growing number of resident students in the campus, the Part-time Medical Officers will have to attend to his duties at IACS on all the 7 (seven) days in a week working days, for at least 3 (three) hours per day and to attend emergency cases, if any, in the campus beyond stipulated duty hours. The schedule for the Part-time Medical Officer/s will be finalized on mutual convenience basis. Besides attending to the employees, students and pensioners (self only), she/he would advise the IACS Standing Medical Committee for its smooth functioning, on technical aspects on processing of medical bills and any other matter pertaining to medical aspects of IACS as and when required.
The applicant should be a registered medical practitioner possessing MCI recognized qualification preferably up to 55 years of age. IACS will offer a fixed remuneration of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) per month depending upon the qualification and experience of the candidate if attending duties on all the 5 (five) working days in a week. Pro-rata remuneration will be offered for the number of days in a week the incumbent will attend duties.
