Recruitment of a part-time Psychological Counsellor

Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) desires to appoint one part-time Psychological Counsellor on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year, extendable on yearly basis based on satisfactory performance and/or requirement of IACS.

Besides attending the employees and students, the Counsellor would also have to advise the Administration and the Institute's Standing Medical Committee as and when required.

The Psychological Counsellor may be a medical counsellor or a clinical psychologist. Accordingly, MD in Psychiatry, Graduate/Masters in Psychology or equivalent having relevant professional training/internship, may apply. The Medical Counsellor will have to attend duties twice in a week for 3 hours /day. IACS will offer him/her a monthly remuneration of Rs.20000/- or Rs.30000/- depending on whether she/he is attending duties twice or thrice a week.
