Name of the post: Research Associate- I at Raman Centre for Atomic and Molecular and Optical Sciences
No. of post: 1 (one) (Duration: 6 months)
Essential Qualifications: PhD in Quantum Chemistry
Desired Experience: The candidate should have completed his PhD in quantum chemistry. The candidate should have experience in handling different Quantum chemistry packages and techniques. The candidate should have past experience with application of multi-reference theories to excited state processes. Preferably the candidate should have adequate knowledge of potential energy surfaces and conical intersections. Additionally, knowledge of ab-initio molecular dynamics, surface-hopping and Car-Parrinello MD techniques is desirable.
Fellowship: As per rules of the Association

Walk-in Interview*: 11th August-2017 from 11.30 am onwards
Venue: Room number C309 of centenary building of IACS.
This position is for six months initially and can be extended for another six months upon satisfactory performance. The candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.
