Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have (a) a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (Experimental) from a recognized University or Institute. The candidate must also have hands on expertise in the synthesis of 2D materials, semiconductor nanostructures for optoelectronic devices (Broadband Photodetectors)

Desirable Expertise: Apart from materials synthesis and device fabrication, candidate should also have following hands on experience:

• Expertise in Lab view programming; capable of interfacing different instruments through GPIB @ RS-232 cable; able to create different graphical user interfaces for different instruments like DSP lock-in amplifier, Impedance analyzer, DSO etc.
• Must be expertise in DSP lock-in amplifier for noise measurement; especially for the case of the photodetector (noise equivalent power or NEP ratio)
• Must be expertise in DSP lock-in amplifier for different electrical component measurements; measurement of complex electrical impedance as a function of test frequency.

Duration: Initial appointment will be done for six months, which subjected to extension up to two year based on the candidate performance review (after each six months) and position availability.

Age limit: 35 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

The post is purely temporary and it would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any attending the interview. No TA will be admissible for attending the off-line interview.

For Ph.D holder, the original or provisional certificate and for the candidate who has submitted the thesis, the relevant document like the acknowledgement copy from the respective university or the authorized letter from the respective supervisor with signature and stamp mentioning the title of thesis, university registration number, date of submission is mandatory to produce during the interview
