Research Associate-I position in the School of Physical Sciences, IACS
Applications are invited for the appointment of Research Associate-I in the School of Physical Sciences, IACS. The deadline of receiving applications is 16.08.2022. Interview will be on 22.08.2022 through online mode.

Research Area: Magnetism of Heusler-based bulk intermetallic compounds and alloys
Essential Qualifications:
The candidate should have obtained his/her Ph.D. degree in the field of experimental condensed matter physics. The candidates should be below 30 years of age and should have B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics with at least 65% of marks. Preference will be given to the candidates with research expertise in studying magnetic and transport properties of transition metal based alloys particularly Heusler based alloys.
The position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
Fellowship: Rs. 47,000/- (for RA-I) + HRA as per rules of the Association.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initial appointment will be done for six months, which is subjected to extend up to 1 year based on the candidate’s performance review and position availability.
