Applications are invited for the post of a Research Associate-I (1 post) at School of Chemical Sciences IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032.
Essential Qualifications: Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in the area of computational quantum chemistry with consistently good academic records, Candidates with expertise in application of DFT and ab-initio methods for understanding reaction mechanisms are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate should have first class or high second class in B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry/Physics with minimum average marks of 60%.
Research Area: Modeling of catalytic processes by organometallic species using DFT and ab-initio methods
Fellowship: As per the rules of the Institute.
The interviews will be held on 05/07/ 2022 starting from 10:30 a.m in online mode. A web conferencing link will be emailed to the shortlisted candidates.
The post is purely temporary for six months (6) but may be extended for a year contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
