Research Associate position in the School of Materials Sciences
Applications are invited through e-mail for the appointment of Research Associate-I in the School of Materials Sciences, IACS. The deadline of receiving applications is 20.04.2022. Research area: Magnetism in two-dimensional materials.
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Physics/Material Science or related field with relevant research experience from a recognized University or Institute.
Candidates who have submitted the thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply.
Desirable qualifications: Candidate must have knowledge about the synthesis of two-dimensional materials in soft chemical route and study of basic electronic and magnetic measurements, like PPMS, SQUID, etc.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initial appointment will be done for six months, which is subjected to extend up to 1 year based on the candidate’s performance review and position availability.
Fellowship: As per rule of the institute.
