Research Associate-I Position in the School of Chemical Sciences, IACS
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the SERB funded project entitled "Tuning Reactivity and Selectivity in Bioinspired Oxidations Catalyzed by Nonheme Iron Complexes" (File No. CRG/2019/006393) in the group of Prof. Tapan Kanti Paine, School of Chemical Science, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science. The applications will be shortlisted based on academic credential and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to appear for an online interview in the third week of November, 2021. The exact date of online interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates only.
Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have a PhD degree in Chemistry with experience in bioinspired inorganic chemistry or bioinspired catalysis. Knowledge in synthetic inorganic chemistry and spectroscopic techniques is essential.
Tenure: This position is temporary (initially for one year). The tenure may be extended for another year (or until the end of the project, whichever is earlier) based on satisfactory performance. The candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.
Fellowship: As per IACS rules.
