Applications are invited for the IACS-funded position of Research Associate-I (RA-I)/bridging fellow (1 post) in the group of Prof. Shyamal K Saha, School of Materials Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). The applications will be shortlisted based on academic credential and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Interview through online mode for a Research Associate-I/ bridging fellow will be held on 09.11.2021 10.11.2021 at 3-00 pm

Broad Research Area: Chemistry of Materials
Specific Research Area: Synthesis and characterizations of different luminescent materials. Candidates having experience in film depositions and fabrication of luminescent materials based devices will be preferred.
Essential qualifications: The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry / Materials science /has submitted his/her thesis (documentary proof to be submitted)in order to be eligible to apply.
Minimum marks of 55% in B.Sc. and M.Sc. are mandatory.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initial appointment will be done for 6 months, which is subjected to extend up to 1 year based on candidate performance review and position availability. The candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.
Age Limit: 34 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. rule.
Emoluments: The fellowship amount will be as per IACS rules.
