Research Associate (RA)-II in the School of Biological Sciences

Online Interview will be held at the School of Biological Sciences, IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032 on 14th September 2021 at 3.00 p.m for the recruitment of one Research Associate-II (1 post). Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data(mentioning email address, photocopies of all certificates, experience, etc.,)to the email ID bcps@iacs.res.in on or before 7^th September 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated and provided interview links in due course.

Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first-class M.Sc. degree in Biology/ Biochemistry, and has obtained Ph.D in biology. The candidate should have research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals and should have teaching experiences.

Duties: Along with the research work, the candidate will be responsible for taking the practical classes as well as the laboratory of BS-MS and Int- PBS program of the school of biological science (SBS). Occasionally candidate also needs to teach few tutorial classes of the same program.

Emoluments: As per the rules of the institute

Tenure of Fellowship:  Initially for one year and extendable for one more year (at the fixed rate of fellowship as per the sanctioned letter of grant) subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by the Progress Monitoring Committee. The tenure will be counted from the date of joining. The position is purely temporary, and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any permanent post in the Institute.
