Essential Qualifications (with specialization) :

M. Sc. (Physics or Chemistry) and PhD (Physical Chemistry/Chemistry/Theoretical Chemistry).

Skill sets (desired) : Experience in computational/theoretical lab. Experience in modelling and simulation of complex systems. Programming in FORTRAN/C/C++; Strong aptitude in mathematics; good background in numerical methods; good communications skills and aptitude to learn new concepts in HPC and parallel architectures.
 

Remuneration: Rs. 49,000/-  per month with HRA (as per rule).

Tenure of Fellowship : 1 year from the date of joining.

The position is purely temporary, and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any permanent post in the Institute. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview. Interview via video based facility such as skype however is permissible subject to the availability of requisite connections.
