Position: One Research Associate –1 (RA-1)

Department: School of Chemical Sciences

Subject Area: Supramolecular Chemistry: Catenanes and Rotaxanes

Minimum Qualification:

A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Supramolecular Chemistry.  Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in synthesis of supramolecular systems, particularly, in interlocked molecules and knowledge on usual product characterization techniques including spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, isothermal titration calorimetry, potentiometric titration etc.

Nationality: Indian.

Emoluments: As per rules of IACS. 

The position is purely temporary for six months and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
