Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Physics with  minimum average marks of 55% and should have a Ph.D degree with 2 years of post doctoral research experience.

Desired Experience: The candidate should have sound knowledge of X-ray crystallography with experience in synthesis of nanocrystalline materials, microstructure characterization by Rietveld refinement using XRD data , interpretation of HRTEM images, phase identification of polycrystalline materials by analyzing XRD pattern.

Fellowship: As per rules of IACS
