Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first or high second class M. Sc. degree in Physics, with a minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. examinations, along with a good overall academic record and has obtained a Ph.D. or submitted Ph.D. thesis, with research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of computational Statistical mechanics. Preference will be given for candidates with computational research experience in the area of phase transition/critical phenomena, active matter systems, and biophysics.

Fellowship: As per the rules of IACS.

Tenure of Fellowship:  6 months.

The position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
