Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Research Associate-I position in the School of Materials Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India.

Name of the post     : Research Associate-I (RA-1)

Number of Post       : One (01)

Fellowship              :  As per rule of the institute.

Duration: Initial appointment for 2 months.

Minimum qualification: PhD degree in experimental Chemistry. Candidates who have submitted the thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply. Candidate must produce a letter from competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defenseis pending.

Desirable expertise: Candidates with experience in experimental Materials Science, particularly in nanostructures/devices, disordered materials will be highly preferred.

The position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
