Walk-in Interview for Research Associate-II (1 post) will be held at the Raychaudhuri Hall of the Centenary Building, IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032 on 5th September, 2019 at 3-30 p.m. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.
Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry or any other related areas with minimum average marks of 55%. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Biology or any related areas and research experience of at least two years after Ph.D. The candidate should have publications in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to the candidate those have teaching experience.
Duties: Along with the research work, the incumbent will be responsible for taking the practical classes as well as the laboratory of BS-MS and Int. PBS program of the School of Biological Sciences (SBS). The candidate will also have to teach a few theory classes as per the rules and as per the requirement of the institute.

The post is purely temporary and will be initially for one year, which is extendable by one more year as per the Institute’s norms. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
