Applications are invited for the post of a Research Associate-I (1 post) to work in the area of gas-phase laser chemistry at School of Chemical Sciences IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032. Essential Qualifications: Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in the area of Molecular Spectroscopy/ Photochemistry with consistently good academic records, 1st Class both in B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. (Specialization/ Major in Physical Chemistry).  The candidate should have expertise in handling high-energy pulsed lasers, high vacuum system, instrumentation of time of flight mass spectrometry, and electronic structure calculation.

Emoluments: As per the rules of the institute.

The post is purely temporary.  No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
