Applications are invited for a walk-in interview to be held on 28-th June at 11.30 A.M. in the Raichoudhuri Hall (Centenary Building) of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) for the post of one RA-I position in the School of Physical Sciences.

Essential Qualifications:

Good academic record and publications with thesis submitted/Ph.D. Degree. Expertise in Quantum Condensed Matter Physics preferably having experience in ab-initio electronic structure calculations.  Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis but did not obtain Ph. D. degree will be considered for the post of SRF and will be upgraded to RA-I once they get provisional Ph.D. degree.

Nationality:Applicant should be an Indian citizen.

Fellowship:As per rules of IACS.

Tenure: Initially for six months and may be extended for another six months.

No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
