Walk-in Interview for a Research Associate-I (1 post) in a research project entitled “regulation of Myh14 gene by long non coding RNA in cancer cells” will be held at the School of Bioloical Sciences at C V Raman Hall, Main Building, IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032 on April 4th 2019 at 4 p.m. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.
Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Biology with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Biology and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Biological chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in animal/human cell culture and knowledge on usual molecular biological techniques including Total RNA isolation, PCR, CHIP, gene silencing, immunohistochemistry etc.
Research Area: Biological chemistry in lnc RNA field
Age limit: 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.
Emoluments: As per the rules of the institute
Tenure of Fellowship: The assignment will be for a period of six months
The post is purely temporary. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
