Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata invites applications for one Postdoctoral Fellow positions to work under the supervision of Prof. Ankan Paul and Dr. Debashree Ghosh.

The topics of the research will be “Development and application of hybrid QM/MM methods for the computation of excited states of complex systems”.

Postdoctoral Fellow (1 position)

Fellowship: Rs. 32,000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) [likely to be revised, commensurate with experience]

Essential qualifications: PhD. In Chemistry/Theoretical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry and M.Sc. in Chemistry (specialization in Physical Chemistry) or Physics with first class and aggregate marks of 55% in both B.Sc. and M.Sc., along with overall good academic records.

Desirable qualifications: Experience in computer programming and numerical methods.
