Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Research Associate-I position in the Department of Solid State Physics, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.

Fellowship                  : As per rules of the Institute.

Duration: Initial appointment for the six months and may be extended for another six months depending on the performance.

Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have obtained his/her Ph.D. degree in the field of experimental condensed matter physics. Those who have submitted his/her thesis and waiting for the degree will not be considered. The candidates should have B.Sc. and M.Sc. in physical science. Preference will be given to the candidates with research expertise in studying magnetic and transport properties of transition metal based alloys particularly Heusler based shape memory alloys.

The position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
