An Walk-in Interview will be held at the Department of Organic Chemistry on February 20, 2018 at 11.30 am for the recruitment of one Research Associate-I for a project on chemical synthesis of complex natural product. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.

Essential Qualifications:   Candidates must have (a) a Ph.D. degree in chemistry in the subarea of organic chemistry and (b) minimum average marks of 55% in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree.

Experience                                      :    Experience in synthesis and structural characterization using various modern techniques would be advantageous. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in multistep synthesis of complex natural product as well as having expertise on sugar chemistry.

No. of post               :  One (1)

Duration                   : Initially for 6 months but extendable up to 1 year

                                          based on performance.

Age limit                  : 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

Emoluments                      : As per rules of the Association.                

The post is purely temporary and it would therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any attending the interview. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.

The original or provisional certificate of Ph.D degree is mandatory to produce during the interview.
