RA-I in Department of Inorganic Chemistry

Walk-in Interview will be held at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Room Number 3, Main Building, IACS on January 11, 2018 at 11.30 AM  for the recruitment of one Research Associate-I. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.

Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of synthetic inorganic chemistry and template directed synthesis of macromolecules etc.  Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in various supramolecular systems and knowledge on usual product characterization techniques including spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, isothermal titration calorimetry etc.

Research Area: Inorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry

Age limit:  34 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

Emoluments:  As per rules of the Association.                

Tenure of Fellowship: 1 year from the date of joining as RA-I

The post is purely temporary.  No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
