Walk-in-interview for a RA-I(Institute) position under the supervision of Prof. Sreebrata Goswami, Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science will be held in Lab number 31, IACS on November 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

Essential Qualifications :
Research Area: Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis
A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. Candidate should have research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of synthetic inorganic chemistry and catalysis. Preference will be given for candidates with research experience in area of synthetic inorganic chemistry, familiarity with chemical catalysis using metal complexes of Redox Active Ligand (RAL), usual product characterization techniques including spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, electrochemical techniques and GCMS technique.
Fellowship: As per rules of IACS.
A selected candidate holding a Ph.D. degree at the time of joining will receive the fellowship of the RA-I position from the date of joining.
Tenure of Fellowship: 1 year from the date of joining as RA-I, which may be extended for one more year based on performance to be reviewed by progress monitoring committee.
No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
