Walk-in-interview for a RA-I position will be held on 21.09.2017 at 4.00 P.M. in the Raichoudhuri Hall (centenary Building) of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Name of the position: RA-I in spectroscopy department. No. of position: 01 (One) Essential Qualifications: Candidate should have good academic records with PhD degree in computational chemistry (or successfully defended his/her thesis) and strong in the area of theoretical and computational chemistry. Experience in programming or softwares like Gaussian, VASP, SIESTA, LAMMPS, NAMD, CPMD etc. would be preferred. The candidate should have solid background in electron correlations and/or DFT. Research Area: Computational chemistry and Theoretical Materials Sciences. Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian citizen. Fellowship: As per rules of IACS. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
