Walk-in-interview for a JRF position will be held on 19.12.2016 at 12.00 P.M. in the Raichoudhuri Hall (centenary Building) of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS).

Name of the position: JRF (Junior Research Fellow) under DST-SERB project of Dr. Ayan Datta. The Position will be co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidate should have good academic records and awarded MSC degree in chemistry and strong in the area of theoretical and computational chemistry. Experience in programming or softwares like Gaussian, VASP, SIESTA, LAMMPS, NAMD, CPMD etc. would be preferred. The candidate should have solid background in electron correlations and/or DFT.

Research Area: Computational chemistry and Theoretical Materials Sciences.

Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian citizen.

Fellowship: As per rules of IACS.

No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
