Convocation Notice

This is hereby brought to the notice of all concerned that the First (Special) Convocation of the Deemed to be University is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the December 18, 2021 in offline mode to confer degrees to all the eligible students who have successfully completed their Master’s program in the year 2020 and 2021, and the PhD students registered with IACS and have defended/would be defending their PhD viva-voce examination successfully during the period December 01, 2018- November 30, 2021.

Students who are eligible and willing to attend the Convocation should send the filled-in application form by email to convocation@iacs.res.in latest by December 03, 2021. Each degree recipient has to pay a fee of Rs. 3000/- through online mode to the University Account of IACS (Name of the Account: Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science University, A/C no: 37739525415, State Bank of India, Jadavpur University Branch, Branch Code: 0093. IFSC: SBIN0000093).

Students not being able to attend the Convocation must pay the fee and apply to receive the certificate which however will be delivered after the Convocation.

There may be a rehearsal at the campus on December 17, 2021 for attending the Convocation. The time for the rehearsal and the specification of convocation dress will be communicated to the applicants. IACS will not provide accommodation to the degree recipients for attending the Convocation.
