Welcome to the Homepage of Utpal Chattopadhyay
My primary areas of research is Physics of Elementary Particles in Beyond the Standard Model scenarios like Supersymmtry, with emphasis on dark matter physics, electroweak fine-tuning or hierarchy problem in general, exploring issues on vacuum stability and stability against charge and color breaking minima, constraining models through flavour physics, precision tests and collider signals in general.
Area of Research: Elementary Particle Theory:
Areas in physics beyond the standard model particularly involving physics of low energy supersymmetry, dark matter analyses etc.
