Our laboratory focuses on exploring the interface of coagulation biology and cancer and studying the role of coagulation factors, bioactive lipids, hypoxia and mechano-transduction in cancer immune evasion and chemoresistance. We employ various molecular biology techniques, computer-aided drug design, molecular dynamics simulations, and chemical synthesis of fluorescent probes, small-molecule inhibitors, drug delivery systems and drug conjugates to study cancer signaling and immune evasion and develop novel cancer chemotherapeutics.
