Bottom-up Chemistry approach for designing microporous and mesoporous materials: We design novel organic/ inorganic/organic-inorganic hybrid porous frameworks under templating or non-templating pathways. Adsorption, gas storage, energy storage, sensing, optical and catalytic properties (CO2 fixation, biofuel and fine chemicals synthesis) of these porous nanomaterials are being studied in depth to explore their potential in energy and environmental research.
