Title: Development of a Green & Sustainable Manufacturing Process for MK-7264
Speaker Dr. Kallol Basu
Time: C. V. Raman Halll, 28th november 2018 (4.00-5.30 pm)
MK-7264 is a P2X3 antagonist that is currently being interrogated in Ph3 for Chronic cough. While the old synthetic route was effective for the synthesis of multi-kilo API, it was deemed unsuitable for the preparation of API on metric ton scale.
The evolution of a short, safe, cost-effective and robust process that has been successfully demonstrated on large scale will be discussed.
