Research Associate Selection in the School of Materials Science

 

       An online interview will be held at the School of Materials Science on July 04, 2022, at 11.30 AM for the recruitment of one Research Associate. The short-listed candidate for interview will be informed by July 02, 2022. 

 

Essential Qualifications:   Candidates must have (a) PhD in Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University or Institute. The candidate should have hands-on experience in 2D Materials synthesis and their electrochemical or photodetectors applications. (b) minimum average marks of 55% in Master's degree.

 

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting award of the same may also apply subject to receiving their Ph.D. degree. Such candidates are eligible to draw fellowship at par with RA only after their Ph.D. degree.

Duration: Initial appointment will be made for six months, which is subjected to an extension of up to one year based on the candidate's performance review and position availability. 

 

Age limit: 38 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

 

Emoluments: As per rules of the Association.

The post is purely temporary, and it would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any attending the interview. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.

 

For Ph.D holder, the original or provisional certificate and for the candidate who has submitted the thesis, the relevant document like the acknowledgement copy from the respective university or the authorized letter from the respective supervisor with signature and stamp mentioning the title of the thesis, university registration number, date of submission is mandatory to produce during the interview.
