Research Associate-I position in the DRU, IACS

Name of the post: Research Associate-I
Research Area: Laser Chemistry
Research Project: To work in the area of gas-phase laser chemistry by integrating photochemistry/photo-ionization events of phenols and amines with mass spectrometry.
Essential qualification: The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemical sciences in the area of molecular spectroscopy/ photochemistry/ mass spectrometry with consistently good academic records, 1st class both in B.Sc. (hons.) and M. Sc. (specialization/ major in Physical Chemistry). The candidate should have expertise in handling high-energy pulse lasers, high vacuum systems, time of flight mass spectrometry and electronic structure theory calculations.
Tenure of Fellowship: As per the rules of the Institute.
Fellowship: As per the rules of the Institute.
Date of Interview: To be decided later.
