Applications are invited through e-mail for the appointment of Research Associate-I/Bridge-Fellow in the School of Mathematical and Computational Science/School of Applied & Interdisciplinary Sciences, IACS.
Name of the Post: Research Associate-I/Bridge-Fellow
Number of posts: One (01)
Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first or high second class M. Sc. degree in Physics, with a minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. examinations, along with an excellent overall academic record and has obtained a Ph.D. or submitted Ph.D. thesis, with research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed international journals in the field of Biophysics and Computational Statistical mechanics.
Desired Experience: Preference will be given for candidates with computational research experience in the area of cell biophysics, including cell and tissue mechanics, cell division, intracellular assembly processes, etc.
Fellowship: As per the rules of IACS.
Tenure of Fellowship: 1 year.
The position is purely temporary, and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute. The interview will be online using applications such as Google meet/Zoom etc. The candidates may apply only via e-mail to ssprp@iacs.res.in with
