Walk-in Interview will be held at the School of Biological Sciences, Room Number 55, Main Building, IACS on 2nd December at 11.30 AM for the recruitment of one Research Associate-I. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.
Essential Qualifications: A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Biology and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in Chemical Biology and allied domain.
Research Area: Chemical Biology
Number of Post: One (1)
Emoluments: As per rules of the Association.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initially for one year and extendable for one more year (at the fixed rate of fellowship as per the sanctioned letter of grant) subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by the Progress Monitoring Committee. The tenure will be counted from the date of joining. The position is purely temporary, and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any permanent post in the Institute.
The post is purely temporary. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
