Our group is involved in the synthesis and characterization of nanocomposites having multiferroic behaviour, magneto-dielectric properties and piezomagnetic Characteristics . Oxide based glasses having nanodimensions have been prepared using suitably chosen templates. Some of these nanocomposites exhibit fast ion conduction. Composites made of graphene sheets with different amorphous mateials are being explored to generate new functionalities.
