Overview

Novel and emergent materials have attracted significant interest in condensed matter research because of their wide-ranging physical properties that are important for basic research and various applications. The primary purpose of this conference is to present and discuss cutting-edge theoretical and experimental works on quantum materials and to promote the exchange of ideas and collaboration among researchers from India, Korea, and APCTP member countries. The major topics will include transition metal oxides, topological insulators, novel superconductors, two-dimensional materials, etc.

• Frustrated magnetism including spin-orbit induced magnetism and spin liquids
• 2D systems including 2D magnetism
• Emergent materials (Dirac materials, Thermoelectric materials, Novel superconductors etc.)
